Money 20/20
Branding | Event design | Swags
Truelayer attended the Money 20/20 conference in Amsterdam. For the occasion, we designed a lounge that could offer all the amenities other booths were lacking: a haven of calm amid the cacophony of sales pitches. The lounge included a central coffee and water station, handy phone chargers, and a variety of cozy seats to refresh and recharge even the most productive of visitors.
We combined decorative elements such as neon signs and plants with sound-absorbing panels and comfortable upholstered seating to muffle noise and give the feeling of being in a quiet urban bistro.
The ironic tagline made it clear that Truelayer is so sure of its product that salespeople don't even need to pester visitors with pitches and presentations.
Instead, we discreetly placed Truelayer's product demos and swags on tables and walls to let attendees learn about the business and its offers at their own pace and only if they truly had an interest.
As a final touch to complete the visitor experience and make us stand out from the crowd, we created a bold video to be played in between talks on the main stage of the conference.
Behind the project
The main structure of the lounge is made of reusable components that have been used for other events. Each panel on the walls can be replaced by screens, plants, or containers, for a virtually infinite number of patterns and possibilities—an advantage for designs as well as budget.
